The wrong question
“Why am I getting worse?” is the question lots of senior golfers ask.
After 50, most golfers lose distance, lose a little range of motion, and start swinging like they did at 30 with a body that no longer does that. Then they hit hundreds of balls a week hoping it comes back, and bounce from one video tip to the next.
The right question is how far you are from shooting your age, and whether the gap is closing. A big gap with a plan beats a small gap with none. That is what the pathway gives you: the order to work in, so the physical, technical, mental and strategic pieces build on each other instead of fighting.
Shooting your age does not need a scratch handicap or a 30-year-old’s driver. Mid-handicap golfers get there in their 70s and 80s when they manage the body, the tee and the course well.
The pathway
Ten steps, in the right order.
Your constraints, not your talent or your experience, decide how fast you improve. The pathway finds the one holding you back and works on that first.
